Our firm has a long history in representing Russian companies and financial institutions interested in investing in or expanding their business throughout the CEE / SEE region. Since 2009, we have also operated a Russian Law Desk that provides legal advice to clients on transactions involving Russian law, advises Russian clients on the Russian law implication of their investment transactions in the region, as well as coordinates the involvement of and teams up with Russian law firms and other legal specialists in Russia.

We have represented numerous Russian clients with respect to large-scale project developments ranging from privatizations and post-privatizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, market entries, divestitures, regulatory approvals, competition law advice, tax, real estate, IP/IT, pharmaceutical and capital markets transactions. Our clients have included such well-known Russian names as Lukoil, Severstal, Alfa Bank, Gazprom, Norilsk Nickel, Renaissance Capital, RENOVA, Rosneft, and Sberbank, among others. We have a presence in every major marker in the CEE / SEE region which provides our clients with a distinct competitive advantage and, in addition to qualified and experienced Russian lawyers based in our Kiev office, we have Russian-speaking capabilities in all of our 12 offices.
